The passively curved body, divided by vertical grids, is adorned with a flattened rear section and a hinged lid. On four bombé, ornamentally designed reserve fields, various landscapes are depicted, including views of Saxon castles and partially palace figures in the style of Watteau, with a view of the hunting castle Hubertusburg, an avenue, and the fortresses Königstein and Sonnenstein. On the lid, a wide landscape with riders near an obelisk, surrounded by a gilded border, reveals the majestic Albrechtsburg Castle in Meissen across the Elbe. The inner side of the lid depicts an elegant group of nobles in front of an impressive fountain, with the fortress Königstein and a castle complex shown on the left. Below, a Watteau group and equestrian figures are shown against the backdrop of Pillnitz Castle, located on the Elbe. Exquisite, polychrome painting. Gilded rim.
