Description

For 2 people, a 7-piece set: teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, 2 cups with saucers, bowl, tray for spoons. Spherical or pear-shaped basket with a handle in the shape of the letter J or a branch. Lids with plastic floral knobs. On both sides of the wall and in the mirror are depicted various scenic images of Watteau figures in naturalistic park landscapes with trees and flower bouquets. Polychrome painting with gilding. Surrounding blue mosaic border, decorated with colored rocaille and flowers. Partially slightly damaged; sword mark. Height of the jug 10 cm - 13 cm. Diameter of the bowl 15.5 cm. Compare: Rückert, Bavarian National Museum Catalogue, No. 347. 7-piece porcelain set, finely painted with Watteau scenes, surrounded by a blue mosaic background. Partially slightly chipped. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Circa 1750.
