Description

Porcelain stoneware. Flower-shaped form with an egg-shaped body, ribbed narrow neck, and pronounced lip rim. Four large, elongated, curled leaves extend from the base, forming handles and loops, with four small dark leaves between them. Glaze with a golden sheen, the leaves are decorated with red glaze or painting combined with gold decor. Several impressed stamps and manufacturer's marks, including a crown, "AMFORA" and an oval mark "Amfora (/) Made in Czechoslovakia," impressed numbers "58 (/) 3947" and the letter "G." Height: 25 cm. Czechoslovak ceramic amphora vase with golden glossy glaze and gold decor. Marked. Czechoslovakia, Teplitz-Turn, "Amfora" factory, circa 1918-1920.
