This figurine is a pair to the figure "Dancing Uzbek Woman"... (Uzbek Dance). Malysheva Nina Alexandrovna (1914-1983) was a Soviet porcelain sculptor. She worked at the Dulevo Porcelain Factory, where complex multi-figure sculptures were created on the themes of childhood and happy motherhood, classical ballet, and dance. She paid great attention to details. Some of her most famous sculptures are "Manicure," "Lezginka," "Telephone Conversation," "Girl with Chickens." She participated in international and all-Union exhibitions. Works by N. A. Malysheva are kept in museums in Moscow, Tver, Omsk, and Lugansk. Height...15.5 cm. Author...Sculptor N. Malysheva.
