Reverse
The reverse depicts Queen Tomyris surrounded by her army (a fragment of a painting by artist A. Duzelkhanov). The inscription "VI c. BC" denotes the century in which the queen lived, and the inscription "Tomyris". The inscription "Ag 925 31.1gr." at the top indicates that the coin is made of.925 silver and weighs 31.1 g.
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the gilded coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, below which the coin's denomination "100 TЕҢGЕ" and the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint are indicated. The right part of the coin depicts horsemen. The number "2010" denotes the year of minting. Around the circumference are a raised rim and the inscriptions "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" in the state language and "NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English.
