Along the arc of the coin's left edge is the inscription 'Ag 925 31.1gr.', indicating the metal, its fineness, and weight (Ag - 925 fine silver, weighing 31.1 grams). At the top is the inscription 'VI c. B.C.' - the century the queen lived in, approximately the 6th century BC, and the name Tomyris in English. In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of the queen surrounded by a numerous army (a fragment of a painting by artist A. Duzelkhanov).
Obverse
Along the rim are inscriptions: at the top in Kazakh 'ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ', at the bottom in English 'NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN', which translate as 'NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN'. In the central left part is a gilded image of the country's state emblem, below it a two-line inscription '100 / ТЕҢГЕ', and below that is the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint. To the right of the emblem is an image of horsemen on horses. At the bottom is the year of minting '2010'.
