  • Obverse
The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire — a double-headed eagle. Both eagle heads bear crowns, with a larger third crown between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. On the eagle's tail is the letter 'L'. This is the mintmaster's mark of Johann Luvis LANG (Иоганн Лювис ЛАНГ — in Russian interpretation, Ivan LANG). The coin's rim consists of denticles.
