Obverse
In the central part, within a circle of smaller diameter formed by dots, a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II on horseback facing left. Around the edge of the coin is the English text: 'ELIZABETH.II.DG.REG.FD', which translates to 'Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God Queen, Defender of the Faith', framed by two laurel branches and the mint year 1977.
