    In the central part, there is an ancient Greek column with a capital. Above it are five ancient coins. To the left of the column is the Church of John the Baptist, to the right is the staircase to the Kerch embankment. Along the arc of the lower edge, divided by the column, is an inscription in Ukrainian: "KERCH 2600", which translates to "2600 years of the city of Kerch".
  • Obverse
    In the central part, as if inside a Scythian mound emerging from the water, an ancient bracelet is depicted with figures of two sirens with interlocked paws. Above them is the year of mintage, 2000. Above the mound is the coat of arms of Ukraine. To the right at the foot of the mound is the mint mark of the Kyiv Mint. In the upper part, along the arc of the coin's edge, is the country name in Ukrainian: "UKRAINA". Inside the bracelet is the numeral "5", below along the edge is the text: "HRYVEN" - 5 hryvnias. To the left and right of the inscription along the rim is a decorative element executed in the Greek style.
