In the central part, the inscription in three lines: '20 EURO CENT'. To the left of the inscription is the outline of Europe, from which six vertical rays extend upwards and downwards. Along the arc of the left edge of the coin, crossing these rays, are twelve five-pointed stars. To the right of the inscription is the monogram 'LL' - the mark of the engraver Luc Luycx. The edge of the coin has seven indentations.
Obverse
In the central part, two galloping Lipizzaner horses are depicted. Above them, in a semicircle, is the inscription in Slovenian: 'LIPICANEC' (translation: 'LIPIZZAN'). Along the edge of the coin are twelve five-pointed stars, alternating with the stars are the country name Slovenia in Slovenian: 'SLOVENIJA', the mint year 2007, and the mint mark. The edge of the coin has seven indentations.
