In the central part on the right are large numerals '20', below them a two-line inscription in English 'EURO / CENT'. To the right of the zero is the engraver's mark of Luc Luycx 'LL'. In the central part on the left are the outlines of the eurozone countries. From them, six vertical parallel lines extend upwards and downwards, ending with 12 stars.
Obverse
In the central part is a portrait of Ioannis Kapodistrias, facing right in half-profile. On his chest is an arched inscription of his name in Greek 'Ι. ΚΑΠΟΔΙΣΤΡΙΑΣ'. On the right shoulder are the initials of the artist Georgios Stamatopoulos 'ΓΣ'. To the left of the portrait is the Athens Mint mark (acanthus leaf), below the year of issue '2008'. To the right is a two-line inscription '20 / ΛΕΠΤΑ', translating from Greek as 'twenty euro cents'. Along the rim are evenly distributed 12 stars of the European Union.
