  • Reverse
    The central part features the denomination in two lines: POLUSHKA. Below, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Church Slavonic: 1714. Around the central image is the text: ВСЕѦ РОСIИ ПОВЕЛIТЕЛЬ (Ruler of All Russia). The rim resembles twisted rope—the traditional denticles are set at an angle to the ground.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle is the inscription: ЦРЬ ПЕТРЬ АЛЕѯIЕВИЧЪ (Tsar Peter Alexeevich). The rim consists of dots.
