Reverse The central part features the denomination in two lines: ПОЛУШКА. Below it, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Church Slavonic: 1713. The text around the central image reads: ВСЕѦ РОСIИ ПОВЕЛIТЕЛЬ. The rim resembles a twisted rope—the traditional denticles are positioned at an angle to the ground.
Obverse The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. The inscription around the eagle reads: ЦРЬ ПЕТРЬ АЛЕѯIЕВИЧЪ. The rim consists of dots.
