Reverse The central part features the denomination in two lines: POLUSHKA. Below, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Church Slavonic: 1705. Around the circumference near the rim runs the inscription: VSELYA ROSII POVELITEL. A cross separates the inscription above the denomination. The rim is decorated with dots.
Obverse The center of the obverse is occupied by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire—a double-headed eagle. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed between them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a scepter, and in its left, an orb. Around the eagle is the inscription: TSAR PETR ALEKSEEVICH. The rim consists of dots.
