(Born 1941 in Wernigerode. Lives and works in Berlin and Potsdam) "Siamese Figure". Original title Expressive Work Kürschner's between Abstraction and Figuration. Kürschner, who studied painting at the HfBK Berlin with Fred Thiele from 1963-1968, won the Rompreis der Villa Massimo in 1971; from 1981-2007 he was a professor at the HdK Berlin, in 1996 he received the Will-Grohmann-Preis der Akademie der Künste. Oil on canvas; verso signed, titled and dated (19)90 with location Berlin. 60 cm x 55 cm.
