"Infinity: an abstract composition in bright shades"

(1951 Danzig - 2011 Düsseldorf) Composition from the cycle "Infinity". Abstract, flat composition in vibrant pink, violet, green, and blue tones. The Polish artist studied painting in Danzig from 1970 to 1976 and at the Academy in Krakow. From 1976 to 1982, she pursued study stays in Belgium, the Netherlands, Morocco, Germany, and Italy. In 1983/84, she continued her studies in Cologne and Bonn. Woitas remained on the Rhine, establishing studios in Cologne and Düsseldorf. Since 1988, she has exhibited extensively in Germany, as well as in Taipei, Valencia, Madrid, and Switzerland. Mixed media on canvas; signed and titled on the reverse; verso with studio label including the artist's address in Düsseldorf. 150 cm x 200 cm. Framed. Mixed media on canvas. Signed. Inscribed on a label by the artist with her address in Düsseldorf.
