A rare 19th century Imperial Russian porcelain serving box by M. S. Kuznetsov porcelain factory. Made as a bunch of asparagus. Marked on underside with a blue ink mark underglaze. The original factory, Brothers Kuznetsov at Novo Kharitonovo, was founded in 1810. In 1892 M. S. Kuznetsov purchased the well established Francis Gardner Porcelain Factory. The factory produced goods of such excellent quality that in 1902 the owner was awarded the title of court supplier.
