Advertising poster for the galactic western "Star Wars." [Rock Head (Stone Head)] / artist Yu. Bokser. M.: VRIP "Reklamfilm," 1990. 104×64.1 cm. In good condition, fold marks, minor tears along the right margin. Print run of 2038 copies. In the late 1980s, the youth TV program "Zebra" aired on Leningrad TV in the USSR—its distinctive feature was that it showed three-minute clips from the film "Star Wars" translated by Leonid Volodarsky. Initially, they showed 10-minute clips, but later copyright issues arose. The show's editors then wrote a letter to the film's director, George Lucas, asking for permission to show the epic to Soviet children in segments of whatever length he deemed appropriate. Lucas allowed them to show 3 minutes per episode. Such clips were broadcast at the end of each episode before the credits for two years. Sales: "Litfond" No. 41 — 36,000; No. 8 — 25,000 rubles.
