Characteristic cabinet paintings for a Baroque artist, both in motif and style, depicting hunting scenes, a road surrounded by adorned meadows, and bare trees with various animals, hunting dogs, and hunters; in the background, a village or a boar hunt in a summer landscape with a hunter, wounded dogs, and a residence in the background. Peter von Bemmel was a pupil of his father Willem von Bemmel and worked as a highly respected landscape painter for the princely courts in Ansbach, Bamberg, Würzburg, and other places.
