(1884 Hanover - 1964 Worpswede) In the moor near Worpswede, a flat, dynamically executed landscape stroke by the artist, who settled in Worpswede in 1908. He studied under Albert Weisgerber in Munich and, under the influence of the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists, especially Paul Cézanne, developed his own style characterized by interconnected color zones. Oil on cardboard. Signed. Approximately 47 cm x 65 cm. In a frame.
