

(Born in 1926 in France) A reclining nude, resting on a suede-colored blanket, stretched out on an elegant light blue, spotted sofa beneath a windowsill, lies a young model with chestnut hair in an approximately full-bodied pose with closed eyes. In pastel tones and with a dynamic, broad stroke, an early work by Hervé, a member of the National Society of Fine Arts, executed in a fragmentary manner. Oil on canvas; signed and dated; lower left with the location Paris and the year 1946. The reverse is marked in French. Dimensions: 60 cm x 81 cm. Framed.
