(1924 Altrogau/Karlsbad - 1985 Munich) "Attempt at a Signal". Original title: "Fantasy, an associative composition from the mature late period of the artist's work, in which he combines abstract and figurative elements. Due to World War II and Soviet captivity, Wild began his artistic activity only in 1949, first in Kempten, and from 1952 in Munich. In his works, he combines abstract and sometimes figurative elements into imaginative, associative compositions. In 1961/62, Wild received the 'Swiss Abstract Painting Prize' in Lausanne. Oil on canvas; signed and dated (19)79. On the reverse, there is an inscription with the title and signature. Dimensions: 115 cm x 89.5 cm. Framed.
