(Active in the 20th century) Female nude drawn in pencil on a sheet of paper (with watermark). Signed and monogrammed "E.H." and dated (19)38. Stamp on the reverse "COLLECTION PROF. DR. KURT HERBERTS" in red with inventory number "B 68/387". Sheet approximately 28.5 cm x 36 cm. Framed. The stamp refers to the prominent chemist, entrepreneur, owner of a paint and varnish factory, and art collector who engaged renowned artists and Bauhaus masters such as Willi Baumeister, Oskar Schlemmer, and Georg Muche from 1937 to 1944. Provenance: Collection of Prof. Dr. Herberts (1901-1989).
