(1950 Zschachwitz - 2021 Berlin) An untitled expressive work by Libudas, oscillating between figuration and abstraction. Libudas studied at the Academy of Graphic Arts and Book Art in Leipzig from 1973 and was a master student under Bernhard Heisig in 1978/79. Until 1985, he worked as an assistant at the academy in Leipzig. In 1999, he received the Fred Thieler Prize for Painting from the Berlinische Galerie, and in 2000, he was awarded the Gerhard Altenbourg Prize by the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg. Media and collage on paper. Signed and dated (19)95. Dimensions 30.5 cm x 84 cm. Framed.
