(1795, Surrey - 1865, Meopham Park near Tunbridge Wells) after "The Command". Original title: Coloured aquatint/paper, 1846. Engraved by John Harris (1791-1873). Published by Fores, London. Plate 4 from the series "Scenes from the Forest Stables". Dimensions: 44 cm x 67 cm. Framed. Provenance: North German family of former hotel owners. This coloured aquatint was executed by John Harris (1791-1873) after works by John Frederick Herring Sr. (1795-1865) and published by Fores, London in 1846. It is plate 4 from the series "Scenes from the Forest Stables".
