A milkman in the style of Louis XVI

Silver. A conical body with a high-set short spout and slightly protruding lip edge rests on a rounded, profiled, and shaped base. The handle is made of ebony wood with faceted edges and is attached to the base via a floral rosette. The smooth wall is adorned with thin, flat grooves on the lower half. A stylized laurel leaf band runs across the center as a decorative strip. Gilt interior. Hallmark, French export mark from 1879, manufacturer's mark. Weight approx. 335 g. Height 16.5 cm.
