Silver cup
Description

Silver, partially gilded. Conical body with a smooth, prominent rim. The lower half of the wall is decorated with three rows of interwoven lace ornaments featuring stylized flowers. The upper half of the wall is finely engraved with leafy branches alternating with relief-embellished hearts. The base is engraved with the owner's name "Rudolph Kettler," dated 1710. Assayer's marks, hallmarks, and the mark of master Gottfried Kittel (became a master in 1697). Weight approximately 160 g. Height 14.7 cm. Assayer's mark, hallmarks, and master's mark. Silesia. Tin. Circa 1710.
