Silver glass
Description

Silver, partially gilded. Round, convex body surrounded by a narrow strip in the form of a rod frieze, conical base with widely flaring edges, smooth surface. A narrow profile line frames the edge. The upper and lower parts are decorated with very fine and masterfully engraved bandelwerk on a finely punched background. The lid, matching the shape, is slightly convex with a high spherical finial. Gilded inside. Made by master Georg Lorenz Warnberger (master since 1714). Weight approximately 345 g. Height 20 cm.
