Description

Silver, partially gilded. Almost cylindrical shape with a profiled, slightly convex rim. Smooth surface with a wide border, separated by narrow profiled lines. The viewing side features an engraved coat of arms in an oval, framed by laurel leaves. On the underside, the initials "T. v. D." are engraved. The interior is gilded. Made with a tremolir line, hallmarks, master Jeremias II Flicker (became a master in 1610). Weight approximately 115 g. Height 7.5 cm. See Seling 2007, BZ 0240, No. 1246. Small German Baroque gilded silver goblet with the engraved coat of arms of master Jeremias II Flicker (master since 1610). Monogram on the underside. Gilded interior. Marked, assay and master's hallmark. German Augsburg. 1616–1620.
