French Art Deco bowl with goldfish decoration by Sabino
Description
A round, slightly curved shape. Colorless glass, partially frosted, cut and polished. The outer wall or bottom features stylized decor in the style of René Lalique, depicting swimming goldfish and air bubbles, with the background painted in black enamel. Possibly attributed to Maurice Ernest Sabino. Signed "SABINO FRANCE". Height 24.7 cm. A French Art Deco bowl with goldfish decor by Sabino. Marked "SABINO FRANCE". France, Noisy-le-Sec, near Paris.
