Six Colored Crystal Wine Glasses, "RAWENNA" series

Luxurious and highly stylish, a set of six wine glasses in original packaging, colored overlay crystal, 100% handmade, from the famous "RAWENNA" series. Produced by the world-renowned German manufactory NACHTMANN in the 1970s. The NACHTMANN factory was founded in Bavaria in 1834 by Michael Nachtmann. In the early 20th century, the factory workshops moved to Neustadt, where they remain today. In the 1960s-1970s, NACHTMANN became the largest producer of top-quality crystal in Germany. For a long time, the NACHTMANN concern united several subsidiaries: "Marc Aurel," "Katharinen Hutte," and "Spiegelau." Products from these factories differed in design and minimized lead oxide content in the crystal. In the early 2000s, the product range became significantly poorer. The factory shifted to more economical forms, and one by one, interesting items disappeared. In 2004, NACHTMANN Cristal AG shares were bought out by Riedel Glas. Although the factory still operates today, it has been unable to return to producing the items it released during its peak period. Thus, any of its products from the 1960s-1970s, especially those of high quality and preservation, automatically became items of special interest to collectors and crystal connoisseurs, and the value of such items only increases each year.

The "RAWENNA" series is one of the most exquisite and worthy, yet despite its classic style, these items are so versatile that they easily and effortlessly fit into almost any table setting interior, be it "hi-tech" or palace classic. Majestic and graceful, made of genuine high-quality lead crystal with a lead oxide content of no less than 24% (PbO 24% - the world standard), such a lead oxide content enhances the refractive index, allowing the crystal to play with all its facets in the sun like precious stones.
