An extremely rare handmade Easter egg featuring an image of Saint George, created by the private Kuznetsov factory during World War I. Russian Tsar Nicholas II presented such eggs to wounded heroes of that war. Several such eggs are known today. One of them is in the Russian Ethnographic Museum, another is in the Hillwood Museum in Washington, D.C., a third is in the famous porcelain collection of Mr. Ray F. Piper in Wyoming, and possibly two eggs are in private collections. We are offering this rare specimen for sale.
