Description

SOVIET PORCELAIN GROUP "WOMAN AND CHILD WITH FISH," NATALIA DANKO, STATE PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY, 1920s, designed by Natalia Danko, sculptor I. Kuznetsov. The woman is depicted with a child at her feet, holding a fish in both hands, one of which is wrapped in the newspaper "Pravda" with the manufactory's mark printed on it, used for sculptures until 1936. Height 22.5 cm (8 7/8 inches). Natalia Danko, State Porcelain Manufactory.
