Description

Two porcelain figural boxes with lids from the Kuznetsov Factory, Moscow, mid-19th century. Rectangular in shape, each box is molded and decorated with the image of a young woman with a sickle and a bouquet of flowers gathered in her apron, sleeping on a bundle of wheat. With an underglaze blue mark, one of the boxes is unmarked. Height – 5 inches (12.7 cm), length – 9 inches (22.9 cm) (2 pcs.)
