Description

Each closed vessel was modeled in the shape of a pear with a wooden handle set inside a leaf. Each bears the factory mark of the M.S. Kuznetsov factory, featuring a double-headed eagle above a medallion with a hoof and a Cyrillic inscription. The inside of the lid has a "38" in pink glaze, as well as the artist's name in black handwriting. SIZE: 5" H x 7-3/4" L. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Overall very good with wear to the gilding. 9-23264
