Description

A pair of Russian porcelain portrait plates, Kuznetsov Manufactory, Moscow, early 20th century. Each plate is round in shape and decorated with a portrait of a boyar or boyarina in the center, surrounded by a ring. The gilded cavetto and rim are adorned with a band featuring alternating gilt palmettes and lotuses. Diameter 8 3/4 inches (22.2 cm). From the estate of Ann M. Osory.
