Description

A SET OF SIX IMPERIAL RUSSIAN PORCELAIN PIECES, circa 1850-1900. Includes a heraldic plate with a gilded decorated scalloped edge and rim, featuring an intricate multicolored heraldic shield, verso with underglaze Popov marks, diameter 10 inches (25.5 cm); a floral-decorated footed plate or cake stand, with a red factory mark of Gardner under the Imperial Charter on the underside, height 4 inches (10 cm), diameter 8.1 inches (20.5 cm); a floral-decorated compote, with a mark from the Gardner factory circa 1850, height 5 inches (12.8 cm); a pair of elegantly decorated tea cups, one with a Kuznetsov factory mark, the other with a Gardner mark, both under the Imperial Charter, largest height 2.74 inches (7 cm); and a Russian porcelain bowl, with a deep rim over the Cyrillic mark of the manufacturer Baranovka, diameter 9.75 inches (24.5 cm).
