PORCELAIN FIGURINE "THE BOURGEOIS KINDLY SELLING HER GOODS AT THE MARKET" FROM THE STATE PORCELAIN FACTORY, PETROGRAD, 1923
After a model by Alisa Bruschetti-Mitrokhina, realistically modeled and painted as a standing woman in a purple coat, white dress, with a hat and veil, holding a shawl and undergarments, with a bear at her feet, on a molded base dated "1919" and decorated with stylized images of books and shoes, with a green underglaze stamped factory mark and a black overglaze commemorative mark for the fifth anniversary of the State Porcelain Factory, also numbered "94/33" and with carved Cyrillic initials "I.K." for Ivan Kuznetsov, height 11 3/8 inches (29 cm).
