Wall plate with Emperor Alexander I

This serving piece was manufactured in 1912 to commemorate the anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812. Manufacturer: M. S. Kuznetsov. Medium: hand-painted porcelain, gilding. Diameter: 18½ cm. Condition: generally good, with partial paint loss. Note: The Kuznetsov Factory was one of the largest manufacturers of porcelain and earthenware in the Russian Empire in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was founded in 1889 by the Russian industrialist and entrepreneur from the Kuznetsov family and operated until 1917, when most enterprises were nationalized.
