A very rare vintage Soviet porcelain dish.
Description

A very rare vintage Soviet porcelain plate, produced at the Dulevo Porcelain Factory. This porcelain plate is dedicated to the sports competitions between the teams of the USSR and Great Britain in 1959. It features a depiction of the statue "Discobolus," an archaeological monument of ancient Greece, set against the backdrop of the fluttering flags of the USSR and Great Britain. Hand-painted and adorned with gilding. In very good condition, with no chips or cracks. On the reverse side, there is a stamp from the Dulevo Porcelain Factory with the inscription "MADE IN THE USSR."
