A very rare vintage Soviet porcelain dish.

A very rare vintage Soviet porcelain plate, produced at the Dulevo porcelain factory. This porcelain plate is dedicated to the sports competitions between the USSR and Great Britain in 1959. It features the statue "Discobolus," an archaeological monument of ancient Greece, against a backdrop of waving flags of the USSR and Great Britain. Hand-painted with gilding decoration. In very good condition, with no chips or cracks. On the reverse side, there is a stamp from the Dulevo porcelain factory with the inscription "MADE IN USSR."
