On a rectangular base covered with overlapping leaves stands a young boy emptying a basket of fish. The figure is polychrome. It is either by the hand of Johann Joachim Kändler or of unknown origin; there are some minor restorations. The height is 10.5 cm. Please refer to the Museum catalogue at Bad Pyrmont Castle, page 159, for a similar image. This porcelain figure of a young fisherman has been slightly restored and bears the crossed swords mark. It is from Meissen, circa 1750.
