Description
Four-pass form with a curved wall. On the flat mirror—a scene of a great battle inspired by G. F. Rugendas, executed in polychrome painting, probably by Georg Michael Steinbrenner. Wide gold ornamental frame. Faint manufacturer's mark. 34.5 cm x 24.5 cm. German porcelain tray depicting a battle scene, possibly painted by G. M. Steinbrenner. Blurred manufacturer's mark. Ludwigsburg. Circa 1775.
