Antique porcelain figurine "White Bear" produced by the renowned Karl Es factory in Germany. Dated from 1919-1972. Dimensions: 13 cm in height, 28 cm in width. The figurine is hand-painted using underglaze painting technique. There is a factory mark on the base of the figurine. Beautiful, powerful, and solid white bear. All sculptures produced at the Karl Es factory deserve attention. They are beautiful, original, and realistic. Duke Georg II of Saxe-Meiningen, a great lover, patron, and supporter of the arts, was a fan of Ens' artistic talent during the period when he worked in Lauscha. During the annual deer hunt, the duke regularly visited Ens to see his latest creations and purchase some of them. In 1855, Friedrich Karl's Lauscha factory employed up to 150 employees. These pieces are still considered the pinnacle of porcelain painting perfection. Condition: excellent preservation, without restoration or cracks.
