Oval porcelain plate with embossed wave decor

Oval porcelain plate with relief decor in the form of waves. On the flat, slightly indented mirror, against a light blue background, two herons are depicted chasing a frog. The motif is executed in polychrome underglaze painting with a gold rim.
Possibly the work of Marianne Höst. Marked with a sword. Dimensions: 34 cm x 23.5 cm.
Provenance: from the collection of a significant private collection in Northern Germany. An early modern artwork from the early 20th century.
