Antique statuette by Karl Scheidig

This is a beautiful figurine created between 1909 and 1929 by Karl Scheidig from East Germany. The figurine is heart-shaped on a basic front. A boy and a girl lean toward each other for a kiss. The boy wears a top hat and a bow, along with a bow tie and three buttons. The girl has short brown hair, a blue sweater, black shoes, and white socks. This piece is in excellent, previously loved condition. It has a partial price sticker reading Rennie Garen Jewelers. At its highest point, it is 6.5 inches, the widest point is 5 inches, and the depth is approximately 2.25 inches. The base is 4 inches wide by 2.25 inches deep. This is a truly beautiful piece of porcelain craftsmanship and a wonderful opportunity for a collector or as a gift. The mark on the underside is a capital S under three points of a crown in blue.
