Reverse
Within a circle, an ornamental eight-pointed rosette frames the coin's denomination placed in the center. Below the numeral is the inscription 'TYIN'. The year of minting, 1993, is placed at the bottom of the rosette. The six facets of the octagonal rosette contain decorative elements from the national ornament.
Obverse
The central part features the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the inscription ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ (Republic of Kazakhstan) around the circumference. A raised rim runs along the edge.
