Against the background of the outline of the Crimean Peninsula, in the center is the date '18.03.2014', on the right is a relief image of the architectural monument 'Swallow's Nest' near Gaspra. Along the rim are inscriptions: at the top 'RUSSIAN FEDERATION', at the bottom 'REPUBLIC OF CRIMEA'.

In the central part of the disc is the coin's denomination '10 RUBLES'. Inside the digit '0' are latent images, visible alternately when changing the viewing angle: the number '10' and the inscription 'RUB'. Around the circumference along the rim are inscriptions: at the top 'BANK OF RUSSIA', at the bottom the date '2014', on the left a stylized image of a laurel branch, on the right an oak branch.
