    In the central part of the reverse is a relief image of an ancient Celtic coin: a warrior on horseback galloping to the right, holding a spear. On either side of the image are the letters 'O ADNA MA TI O'.
  • Obverse
    Depiction of salt mining: a man (facing right), kneeling on one knee, holding a pickaxe, with a basket and a torch in front of him. To the right of the basket is the artist's mark of Thomas Pesendorfer - 'TP'. Along the rim are inscriptions in German: at the top and right the country name 'REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH' (Republic of Austria), at the bottom the inscription '100 SCHILLING' (100 Schillings), on the left the year of issue '2000'.
