Around the circumference along the rim, the inscription in German 'HALB SCHILLING' (Half Schilling), the words separated on both sides by a diamond. Below, between the letters of the lower part of the inscription, the mint year '1926'.

    In the central part, the heraldic three-part shield of the Austrian Archduchy, the upper and lower fields of which are covered with vertical lines, inscribed within a multi-tiered frame matching the shield's shape. Around the circumference along the rim, the country name in German 'REPUBLIC ŒSTERREICH' (Republic of Austria).
