Reverse The central part features the denomination in two lines: КОПЕИКА Below it, the year of mintage is indicated in Old Slavonic: 1709. Above the inscription is a dot. Around the circumference near the rim runs the text: ВСЕѦ РWССIИ САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ (Autocrat of All Russia).
Obverse The central part of the obverse depicts St. George the Victorious on horseback, with a spear pointing to the lower right corner (no serpent). Beneath the horseman are the letters 'БГ'. An error in the designation of the Nadvizhny Mint. Above the horseman's head is a dot. Along the edge, from right to left, runs the text: ЦРЬ IВЕЛИКIИ КНЗЬ ПЕТРЪ АЛЕѯIЕВИЧЪ (Tsar and Grand Prince Peter Alexeevich).
